Challenge catch up - Days 13 & 14 - Volcanes y El Pez ArcoIris

We´d not been able to keep up with the 30 day Hands On Play Challenge over the last couple of days.  We have still been doing a play activity for a minimum of 15 minutes a day, in fact yesterday we repeated Day 10 Explosions making them into playdough volcanoes!
No habíamos sido capaces de mantenernos  al día con el reto de 30 días de Hands on Play en el último par de días. Sin embargo, hemos estado haciendo una actividad de juego por un mínimo de 15 minutos al día, de hecho, ayer se repitieron  10 explosiones  en volcanes de plastilina!

Today we´ve done a combined activity for the last two days.  The 13th challenge came from Anna @ The Imagination Tree, a sticky art project, and the 14th from Jaime @ Hands On: as we play retelling a story.

We previously did a story map as I had named it and so wondered how I could put a new spin on it.
Then I thought  The Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister would be perfect!

Hoy hemos hecho una actividad combinada de los dos últimos días. El reto 13 vino de Anna @ Imagination Tree, un proyecto de arte pegajoso, y el 14 de Jaime @Hands on Play Manos a la obra: a medida que jugamos re-contamos un cuento.

Anteriormente hemos hecho un mapa de la historia, como lo habíamos llamados y me preguntaba cómo podía darle un giro nuevo a la historia. Entonces pensé que "El pez arco iris" de Marcus Pfister sería perfecto!

Story mapping ()

Today we story mapped The Gruffalo with the teddies taking the star roles of mouse, owl, fox, snake and gruffalo.  I threw down a green blanket on the floor and with the blocks Croc built the various scenes of the story.  He  knows the story (almost) of by heart, and played it out all by himself.

Hoy hicimos una representación de un cuento El Grúfalo, que es uno de los favoritos de Croc (puede recitar casi todo él de memoria). Los peluches tomaron los papeles principales del cuento: el ratón, el zorro, el buho, la serpiente y el Grúfalo. Pusimos una tela verde en el suelo como base y él se encargo de ir construyendo los escenarios con bloques de madera. Croc iba representando la historia solito.

Boo´s really starting to get around and loves playing with books, turning the pages looking at the colours.  She loves this version of The Very Hungry Caterpillar as it has different size pages with holes through which she can touch.
Aquí está la nena que empieza a disfrutar de los libros, sobre todo de manejarlos, ver colores y volver páginas con su pequeñas manitas.
